for Cappellini
nendo was one of the 10 designers Italian furniture manufacturer Cappellini invited to design a carpet for its original carpet collection. When we thought about motifs that looked and felt comfortable, one of the first images to come to mind was how good it feels to walk on a field of clover, or to flop down onto it. The colour and arrangement of the clover leaves seem random, but there's actually one four-leaf clover hidden away in the carpet for good luck.
