We suggested that a kind of "printed" space would remind shoppers of the brand's premiere reputation since its reputation has been built on print descriptions of clothing and suggestions for coordinating outfits. We printed a wood grain pattern on stone floor tiles, and a stone pattern on wood, mixing together the warmth and softness of wood with the solidity and massiveness of stone. This created a warm, profound reminder of the brand's connection to print media.
