This is the CI design for a firm whose activities include player management, team consulting and a children's sports school. The logo's flames represent the heat and excitement of sports, and the school's logo takes this further with its motif of flying sparks. We decided to put the corporate information in a sports drink bottle to convey the idea of "squirting out" idea after idea as you'd squirt water from a bottle. To show that the company's activities cross existing boundaries, we printed the business cards with lines like a soccer field, and made them slightly larger than normal cards, so that they "go over the lines" when stacked with other business cards. The idea that spocom "takes each step surely and carefully" appeared in envelopes printed like the yard lines on an American football field to recall the way that teams advance yard by yard. Flocked and raised printing gave the business cards and envelopes a grassy feel like a playing field. Like the company's name, which suggests the combination of sports with community, communication and comjou, the Japanese for "willpower" or "guts," the design recalled the multiple meanings of sports.
