A collection of neckties with a design applied graphically, rather than by weave or embroidery. Sophisticated inkjet printing technology is used to print the designs onto silk in order to achieve subtle expression of detail and gradation that would be difficult to produce by other technique.
FADE-IN Though there is no pattern near the knot, a checked design gradually appears toward the bottom of the necktie.
FLOAT An increasingly pronounced shadow causes the design to appear to float toward the bottom of the necktie.
BLUR-1 A striped design becomes blurry toward the bottom of the necktie.
BLUR-2 A checked design grows clearer toward the bottom of the necktie.
MAGNIFY The design near the knot is progressively magnified toward the bottom of the necktie.
PIXEL The design near the knot becomes more and more pixelated toward the bottom of the necktie.
BREAK The design breaks up toward the bottom of the necktie.
WRINKLE Subtle nuances in shading causes the necktie to appear wrinkled.
WET The design liquefies and begins to drip toward the bottom of the necktie.
CLEAR It appears as if the necktie is transparent, revealing the buttons of one’s shirt below.
