one-stroke

A “one-stroke” carpet that appears like a drawing using a black pen on white paper.
Each piece is carefully hand-woven by craftsmen in the Rajasthan region of northern India, over a six-month period.
Three variations were made with the purpose of displaying the process of the drawing: one that has one quarter of the pattern drawn, one with half of the design drawn and one with the completed design.
A design that makes their eyes drawn to the trajectory of the pattern.
